Applying for Graduate School, Round 2

So, what have I learned after applying to 7 graduate schools and receiving 4 direct "no" responses, 2 interviews (which were followed by 1 "no" and 1 that never answered at all), and one waiting list followed by a "no"? I have learned that I am much better at Audio Engineering than Music Theory, despite having a master's degree in Music Theory, not Music Technology.

Was I surprised to discover that I could do better applying to a field that is not my main expertise? Yes, yes I was. However, I put this information to good use, and I have applied to only schools that offer Music Technology degrees at the Master's lever or higher. Examples include Georgia Tech and Indiana University-Purdue School of Engineering.

I will be sure to post the results once I have them.
